In case it isn't obvious to you, these dragons are here to be picked up by their owners. They are not up for adoption. Do not take dragons from this page unless you are the owner listed below.
All images are PNG format. They will appear fully transparent in most web browsers, excepting older versions of Internet Explorer. In those web browsers that do not support PNGs fully, they will have a black background. If you wish, I can change the background to another solid color. Just email me with your request.

#pc22m -- Portal Montane Mountain Haze Terran-Arboreal Male
Abilities/Attacks/Objects: Living Ersatz - This small doll made of sticks and bound with earthen magic allows this dragon to create living, breathing copies of anything living. The copies will be completely indistinguishable from the originals with the exception of their souls. Since a soul cannot be copied, the ersatz will be animated with magic similar to that which gives life to earth elementals.
Viridian Rivière - These gem beads glow with the earth's abundance. This dragon wields the power of bringing new life and prosperity to anything living, including heightening fertility, renewing growth, and increasing health.
Mutations: Terran-Arboreal hybrid type (2 wings, 4 legs), living wood horns
Notes: Montane Portals are larger and more muscular than Machesri Clan dragons. Their colorations are darker, with the scales and wing membranes being more dusky and the hides being more glossy. They have large talons and long, spiraling horns, both usually black. Their eyes match their base coloration. These dragons travel alone or in pairs, keeping large territories. About every seven years, there is a larger gathering, where dragons can obtain Magical Objects, find mates, fight others for ranking purposes, and exchange information.
This dragon was abandoned as an egg. The spirit of the mountain took pity on him, and he was raised protected by earth elemental magic. He has grown into a powerful Bishen who serves the mountain spirit, acting as Lord and master of all within his territory. He is so suffused with earth magic that his horns have become living wood.

#mc131m -- Machesri Dark Blue Marine Male
Abilities/Attacks/Objects: Demon's Jaws - This ring charmed with fangs gives the wearer the ability to crush enemies with invisible force of great strength. Time is needed to target enemies, especially if they are in rapid motion, and the dragon can only concentrate on one target at a time. The larger the area he is targeting, the more energy and concentration it will take.
Dairal's Crinet - This object, while it does not grant the wearer any magical abilities, is imbued with a strong aura of protection. Over time, it may become a Magical Object simply by the faith and strength of its maker and bearers. Currently attached to it is the cadency symbol of the eighth son, a cross moline.
Constrict - He can wrap around enemies and squeeze them, which can result in unconsciousness, severe internal injuries, or death.
Quick Reflexes - This dragon has faster reaction times than your average dragon.
Mutations: Dark color variant, tail fin, armored scales, horns
Special Characteristics: Scarring, metal armor
Notes: This dragon, although young, is part of a growing legend. What follows is a short version of the tale.
On a world that had long since turned away from the magical and mythical, a pair of Machesri Bishel Dragons arrived. The male, Dairal, was a skilled metalsmith, and the female, Krina, was his mate, a scholar and explorer. It was Krina who had decided to use the magical portal by which they left their home world, following in the footsteps of other pioneers. They planned to travel and explore what the new world had to offer them. Unfortunately, the fact that dragons were not normal fare made things more difficult. After a few unpleasant encounters, they were forced to travel in hiding from the large, human population. It was then they discovered that they were not the only mythical creatures living in the shadows. The world was rife with demons, evil spirits, and every manner of dark inhabitant. The dragons believed it was because most of the world had moved on and forgotten to guard against such things. Clearly, this new world needed warriors. Dairal and Krina journeyed for many years, during which they explored, learned, and fought against the darkness where they could. Eventually, they settled down underneath a large city, where the evil seemed the greatest. They joined the few good warriors they could find there, some human, a few not, in the fight against the growing darkness. In his spare time, Dairal began work on an elaborate suit of armor, and Krina studied the history of their new world, delighting in where it differed greatly from the world they had left behind.
Eventually, Krina bore a clutch of nine eggs. As their children grew, the pair raised them to be warriors, knights of the light. Of course, the young dragons also had additional education of the street smart sort from their parents' associates. When they were old enough, they were given objects collected from various sources in the magical community. The siblings helped defend the denizens of the city from the forces of darkness. After some years, however, it became clear that the city was too small for eleven dragon warriors. The siblings began squabbling amongst themselves and carelessly risking exposure to the city's human population. Their parents knew something needed to be done. One day, Dairal and Krina presented each of the siblings with one piece of the suit of armor Dairal had created. He and Krina told their children to go out into the world and fight the darkness. They could always come home if they needed help, but they no longer were to dwell in the city. So, the nine children went out into the world. They are known as the Machesri Knights.
This dragon is the eighth child of Dairal and Krina and wears the crinet of Dairal's Armor, marked with the ancient heraldry cadency symbol for an eighth son. The teeth and claws on his armor are from his many victories, as are his scars.

#hc20f -- Fraternal Twin Hirgyae Ember Terran Female
Abilities/Attacks/Objects: Tarevi d'Kertomanas -- "Cover of Shadows" -- Moving black shadows accompany this dragon, usually clustering around its extremities. The shadows can shrink and grow, even spreading temporarily to those nearby. The dragon can learn to control them with practice and concentration.
Jinalvk Kusa'rutas Mavitok -- "Might Choose Many Different Forms" -- This dragon has developed some basic shifting abilities. She can't fully change form, but she can change parts of her anatomy, for example, turning her feet into hooves, sprouting extra spines or blades, etc. The changes are temporary and take more concentration the longer she holds them. With time, she may learn to make more extensive changes.
Mutations: Ember coloration
#hc21m -- Fraternal Twin Hirgyae Blue Terran Male
Abilities/Attacks/Objects: Tarevi d'Kertomanas -- "Cover of Shadows" -- Moving black shadows accompany this dragon, usually clustering around its extremities. The shadows can shrink and grow, even spreading temporarily to those nearby. The dragon can learn to control them with practice and concentration.
Beruk'Nikahl -- "Unstoppable Movement" -- He has the ability to teleport over short distances. Distances of up to ten meters are very easy, and the difficulty increases from there. He can bring his sister along when he teleports although it takes more effort over larger distances, and he must be touching her.

#hc22f -- Hirgyae Nightmare Profane Terran-Arboreal Female
Abilities/Attacks/Objects: Buka Pakol e Malacaru -- "She Walks in Nightmares" -- This dragon can move completely into the world of nightmares, shedding all physical form. When in the dream world, she is all but immortal. Any power she can imagine, she can wield in the dreamscape; only the most powerful of nightmare creatures is a threat to her. Her one weakness is that she cannot remain in the realm of nightmares forever. The more energy she expends in the dreamscape, the sooner she will have to return to physical form to recuperate. Also, she can only enter nightmares, dreams created from negative emotions. She is unable to see pleasant dreams or their inhabitants.
Mutations: Profane traits (including 10 limbs, unique coloration, frilled wings, magically-charged wings and horns, bladed armor), Terran-Arboreal hybrid type (6 wings, 4 legs)
Notes: This dragon has worked long and hard to become the most powerful creature in the world of nightmares. Now, she finds the former Patron of Nightmares, one of the few who could control her, gone. The new Patron is weak, vulnerable. She could kill it... but that might make her the next Patron, constrained by the rules of the position. Perhaps, it would be better to have control over the current Patron... With that in mind, she decides to stake a claim on the Patron of Nightmares.

#pc23m -- Portal Blood Forest Red Arboreal-Terran Male
Abilities/Attacks/Objects: Blackened Ivy -- The twining ivy around this dragon's neck gives him the ability to camouflage himself as any sort of plant or plant detritus. For example, he can suddenly look like a branch, or a pile of deadwood. He also has a breath weapon of pitch black dust that blinds and irritates the eyes, sinuses, and lungs. Finally, when in great danger, the leaves from the ivy can detach and launch themselves at attackers. The leaves are very sharp and gravely injure anyone foolish enough to pursue him. It will take at least a few days for the leaves to grow back, up to a week for the largest leaves to reach full size.
Mutations: Blindness, Arboreal-Terran hybrid type (2 taloned wings)
Notes: The Blood Forest Portals have adapted to life in the dark forest. Members of this Clan are very small; they are almost half the size of an average Machesri. They have thick hides, dark and dusky and a bit brownish in their colorations. Some have fuzzy manes or tail fur. Their scales are rough and slightly leathery. Their back scales extend down their skull to the end of their nose. Arboreals are usually Arboreal-Terran hybrids like this male, with talons on their wings. The Terrans spend most of their lives burrowing under the forest floor, with short, stunted legs if they have any at all. Marines are very rare, inhabiting the rare ponds in the woods.
This small dragon has spent his entire life in the trees. His wings are not large enough for full flight or long-distance gliding; he travels by climbing up trunks and branches and moving from tree to tree in a controlled free fall. He has been blind since birth, but sight is not a very handy sense in the dark, foggy forest. His lack of sight hasn't caused him much trouble. He is a talented hunter of aerial and arboreal prey.

#pc24f -- Portal Aether Dusky White Terran-Marine Female
Abilities/Attacks/Objects: Aether Acid -- Her barbs, claws, and fangs are mildly acidic, making any wounds delivered by them burn and heal very slowly. Extensive injuries by her can sicken or kill. There is also a very minute amount of aether in them, which adds toxicity and makes her contagious.
Intuition -- a psychic ability that allows the user to tell accurately truth from lie, correct from incorrect
Soothe -- a preternatural ability to calm and comfort others by actions and words
Mutations: Aether infection, Terran-Marine hybrid type (4 legs), finned spines and barbs along spine and jaws, fluorescence, talons, dew claws, fangs
Notes: This dragon is severely mutated. She has a six-limbed body structure, although she only has four front legs. Added to that are all sorts of weaponry and fluorescence. She has also become more bony, although some of that is due to malnutrition. Normal dragons of her clan are more like the Machesri in appearance, but claws, horns, and hybrid types are more common. They are very rare on this world, and most live underground to escape discovery. It is unclear whether any other Bishel Dragons are in the quarantined zone.
This dragon often hears voices, probably a combination of her exposure to aether and her solitude and boredom. Luckily, the voices are mostly helpful, and she will often hold conversations with them to pass the days. Besides that failing, she has a good grip on reality for a dragon who has been living alone in toxic conditions. Creative by nature, she is always seeking amusement and making hobbies and games for herself. Boredom is a problem when you're stuck underground with a bunch of mutant critters. Many of her games involve hunting, for lack of better things to do.
